Over the past several decades, milk has been regarded as an essential and integral part of the diet. No day starts without a tall glass of milk, they say. Cattle are injected with hormones to maximize milk production. These hormones such as recombinant bovine hormone (rbGH) increase the insulin; like growth factor-1, which has been known to promote the growth of cancer cells.
